Matthew Jefferies is a workforce strategist, AI practitioner, and the author of Artificial Leverage: Mental Models and Workflows for Mastering Generative AI. Over 26 years inside one of Australia's largest national institutions, he delivered strategic assessments to senior leadership and developed expertise in workforce strategy, organisational adaptation, and strategic analysis.

Since late 2022, Matthew has been a daily practitioner of frontier AI systems, developing the mental model framework that became Artificial Leverage. His 10-part Outpaced investigation examines how AI acceleration threatens Australia's workforce, economy, and institutional capability.
